Digging Acid Dad.
They're playing here next week during CMW(Canadian Music Week), might check them out.

I can't believe how much I immediately liked this album Boarding House Reach), and the more I listen, the more I love it. Best thing I've heard in a really long time

Cool that he's playing the St Vincent guitar.

" Anyone who’s caught one of Jack White’s early shows behind Boarding House Reach may have noticed some new additions to his rig. Chief among them: St. Vincent’s Signature Ernie Ball guitar.

In a recent Rolling Stone cover story, White said he added Annie Clark’s sleek and angular guitar to his arsenal after abandoning his usual pawnshop instruments. He made the choice after hearing Eddie Van Halen designed his own custom model because he “wanted something that doesn’t fight me,” White explained. “If people only knew how hard it was on these shitty guitars… because I didn’t know!” White also appreciated the fact that Clark designed the guitar with the female body in mind. “I love that she was making a guitar for women,” he remarked."

Yes, I read that. He's a really interesting person. SPIN panned the album in a ranting article. That RS interview was facinating. Here it is for anyone who's interested...https://www.rollingstone.com/music/albu ... ry-w518260

I have no idea what they are singing, but I dig it.

I also enjoy this band, which I just learned about recently.

Took me about 4 or 5 listens but I love Ghost's new album. I found it really hard after the masterpiece that is Meliora, but now it's grown on me. I hear Van Halen, Scorpions, Yes, Maiden influences plus a load of other bands in the album. I hope they tour the UK again late/early next year, the set list is amazing.

Eminem is back!
He raps faster than my hearing can register his words..

I don't follow all the drama between rappers but here's the response from Machine Gun Kelly to one of Em's tracks on the new album, Not Alike.

A few good lines. but kind of lame.

The funniest thing about these rappers is that they go on and on about how hard and tough they are, which I’m sure they are, but listen to the music in the background. It’s a simple beat with a couple of keyboard riffs over and over, or a couple of different riffs. It’s hardly “tough” music. I watched a video by that SixNine knob. Same deal. Hilarious

I was going to post that I'm listening to their new album "For Ever" regularly.

Their self-titled first album is great as well.

Cymbals Eat Guitars is one of my favorite recently-discovered bands, though they've been around for a few years. Any fans of early 90s alt-pop remember the short-lived band Jellyfish ("That Is Why", "Ghost At #1")? These guys strike me as an updated version of them, which I mean as a high compliment.
