I really enjoy his videos in this series. My fave thing is that his surname is “beat-oh!”
Re: NIN + Jesus And Mary Chain Tour
yeah, the guy's got a great pair of ears too. I wonder where he gets the stems so he can do these videos

Re: NIN + Jesus And Mary Chain Tour
I read in some comments that he does some fancy mixing to “isolate” track from the stereo tracks when he can’t get the actual isolated tracks.
Some other people said he uses tracks from those Rock Band games of course they were complaining about it.

Just about everything he's done a video for, he's using the ripped MOG file Guitar Hero/Rock Band game multi-track stems. AFAIK, for Janes, there's stems for Mountain Song, Stop and BCS.nausearockpig wrote:I read in some comments that he does some fancy mixing to “isolate” track from the stereo tracks when he can’t get the actual isolated tracks.

Maybe the Radiohead one he did, he didn’t have the multis... can’t remember. Cool series tho.

Re: NIN + Jesus And Mary Chain Tour
Looks like the current NIN tour is getting back to what made the 2009 Farewell tour so good. Trent's playing a really mixed up set from night to night, pulling out solid deep cuts that haven't been played in years or even decades and then there's this:

Why would they never play that live before? Sounded pretty good. Maybe because it's a tough song for the drummer?Pandemonium wrote:Looks like the current NIN tour is getting back to what made the 2009 Farewell tour so good. Probably because Trent had to become an old man before he thought it was ok for Nine Inch Nails to play a mandolin on stage.creep wrote:

For someone whose music was so aggressive and angry for so long, he had to get married and sober and become a father before he softened up his stance on what his music could be.
Now there are mandolins and xylophones onstage when it used to be guitars, more guitars, and even more guitars.
Re: NIN + Jesus And Mary Chain Tour
I heard that Trent hates the song so I was surprised to see em play it. It's a good song

Re: NIN + Jesus And Mary Chain Tour
Amazing show on Saturday. Perhaps best I’ve seen him. Crowd was super into it, setlist was so tight.
Got to see A Perfect Drug and Mr. Self Destruct. Looked at tonight’s setlist and I’m really glad I got lucky last. Ivhf. Although tonight he did happiness is slavery.
Going again on Wednesday for his last show in NYC so hoping I can get that first show/last show magic. The band really was just flying on all cylinders yesterday.

NIN's played something like 50+ different songs so far on this tour. They've even played Came Back Haunted at least once this tour. Glad to hear you got Perfect Drug - I'm really hoping for that one along with Last and Heresy at my show which will be the final Hollywood Palladium show in mid December.farrellgirl99 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 14, 2018 9:54 pmAmazing show on Saturday. Re: NIN + Jesus And Mary Chain Tour
Hopefully since you're the last show for LA he will go all out. A friend of mine who just started to get into NIN went to his first show Sunday and he was like 'i thought i covered the catalogue well but there was a lot I didn't know' bc Trent was playing a lot of deeper cuts for the casual fan. At that show he didn't play Wish or Gave Up which I always find to be some of the best live for crowd energy (esp Wish).Pandemonium wrote: ↑Mon Oct 15, 2018 9:38 amNIN's played something like 50+ different songs so far on this tour. I was just super happy I got the 'harder' rock show with songs from Bad Witch (trent played a good sax lol) - the band was just annihilating the songs. I will report back if I get anything on Wednesday - I am crossing my fingers for Happiness is Slavery - or maybe the Fragile in full

fuckin hell I'd love to go, there's no band I'd rather see live than NIN I think

Another really good setlist tonight - now I’m nothing, something I can never have, sanctified, home, and perfect drug tonight. Guess I won’t be getting those tomorrow, sigh.
Hope he brings out some good shit tomorrow I’m excited

Re: NIN + Jesus And Mary Chain Tour
He played the broken ep!!!
I can die happy. He also covered...how to destroy angels? Who woulda guessed?? He also played the background world!
Amazing show. Between this and Saturday I’m just riding high. Such great energy. I literally almost cried when he played the third song from broken and I knew it was happening.
Okay I’ll stop fan girling. This tour kicks ass. Panda you’re in for a treat

I just looked at SetlistFM and saw that. Not only did they play Broken but the 2 "bonus" cover songs as well. I would have died a happy camper if I got (or get) that set you got. Super stoked for Palladium in 2 months.farrellgirl99 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 17, 2018 9:24 pmHe played the broken ep!!!
