Pretty sure Ezekiel Elliott, Todd Hurley, and Fournette would still go first round today as they are the cream of the crop in the league (Peterson, Lynch, Gordon and Ingram all must have been insane reaches too?)

Stop believing everything bspn tells you...all first round picks are serious reaches...your example could apply to QBs..."Brady went in the sixth...all QBs taken in first five rounds is a reach those days are over"
It has nothing to do with ESPN. It has to do with 30 years of watching the NFL. Saquon may do great, but no way do you take a back in Rd 1.

I hear ya. And I still stand by my position. There are way too many talented RBs to take one that high. In every draft. In today's NFL, almost every position on offense takes precedence over a RB. If you're set elsewhere, a 3rd round RB can take care of business. If you're not set elsewhere, a 1st round RB makes little difference.

Trust me, I wanted Josh Rosen to the Giants. But I can get on board. Could have also grabbed Quentin nelson at #2 and draft Darius guice or sonny Michel in round 2

Not cancelled, but if the new rules are any indication it is a different sport.

It's been a different sport for decades ...heard someone say it's turning into 11 man arena league ball...Soo sad, it's so true

Bought some sweet Tix for the vikes game vs the Rams...in what I expect to be the last nfl game I see at the Los Angeles memorial collosium...first Thursday game...haven't seen my vikes in a while...nice having an nfc team in LA where the vikes will play every 6 years to go along with the bolts in the afc every 8 years...doubled my rotation!

Def can't wait for the season to start (preseason holds about as much weight for me as off-season)

I should probably post here more.

I took my 10 year old to Chiefs camp up in St. Joseph (4.5 hour drive) a couple weeks ago. We had a great time. He got 6 autographs, including the coaches. Chris Jones was incredibly nice and made sure every kid got an autograph.

I'm really looking forward to the season starting. That absolute bomb thrown by Mahones against the Falcons was absolutely ridiculous. The Chiefs offense should be special, which it will need to be in order to compensate for a less stellar defense.

So yeah...Go Chiiiiiiiiiiieeeefs and fuck the Rams. Was funny to see the Colosseum completely filled with Raiders fans. LA will never care much about football.

I went to the Seahawks game vs. the Colts when I was in Seattle 2 weeks ago.

My buddy had a friend who works for the organization and we got to sit 4th row.

It was pretty awesome.

Go football!

I'm going the Thursday after...

Any skins or nfc east folks post anymore?

Been missing preseason games like crazy...but watched a YouTube clip of Kurt Cousins from this last game and holy fuck does he get rid of the rock fast once he decides to throw...I didn't want him, we over paid but I'm starting to get slightly optimistic about him...I know he had no oline in Washington..."he sucked in the clutch" often can mean the other team blitzed on 3-10 and the oline crumbled

Anyone with thoughts?

Bears 2nd stringers outplayed the chiefs starting roster Saturday . Lets hope that's a sign of things to come. They made Chase Daniel look like Tom Brady.

Chiefs were actually missing a number of important starters on defense.

That game last night was the sloppiest footbal I have seen in a long time.

But I am glad Philly won. I put money on them.

As a bears fan, I never was excited over cutler, I wasn't even too enthusiastic about peppers, but now the bears have a true monster. Gotta love the addition of mack to the bears, hope hes prepped up for tomorrow night against the packers.

Looking forward to the season. My allegiance to the pats has diminished a great deal....a lot of it is all the evidence that major players are trump peeps, but the other is management. I was really unimpressed with the way Butler was handled in last years SB. Besides the cutthroat nature of the move, it seemed like terrible strategy. That combined with the TB12/Guerrero soap and the revolving door of parts (the Jimmy G trade was a travesty...I think and thought he's the next Aaron Rodgers), they are just an automaton. So, besides all that I have been saying since last Feb that they are going to fall off hard this season....easy division, but still I said they'd be a.500 team. My kiddo says I am nuts... :noclue:

I am really digging the Browns....love Baker (see a ton of Farve in him) and Landry. Love me an underdog any day. Not a Rams fan, but this team as constructed with this coach is hard not to love too.

Pffffft.

Tyreek Hil was unleashed and he completely shredded both the Chargers D and ST.
