Yeah, that is the ONE good thing about it, I guess.
Robert Plant was asked about them and said: He borrowed his style from someone I know very well and added that the singer in GVF has said that he got his style from Aerosmith
I wouldn't mind if their next album sounded like Aerosmith either.
Modern radio is full of too much Rock, and too little Rock n Roll.
I really like GVF! I saw them last year and have tickets to see them again in May. I think people who dismiss them should them live....they are REALLY good! I love classic rock and think it's refreshing to see these young guys do it so well.
Now my heater for the house has crapped out during what is turning out to be the coldest couple weeks in coastal California history. I had a guy in last weekend to look at it, he said he could get a part for it, days later after dogging him it turns out "No, I can't find it" so I spent two days trying to find someone else who hopefully knows what they are doing to likely replace the entire heater but non-shockingly, everyone is super busy into next week and I likely won't be able to shell out $2,00+ for the job until this cold snap is over. The cold doesn't really bother me personally except in the morning getting up, but my wife and son aren't digging it. He's sleeping at night with 3 blankets and a hoodie!

You'd be surprised what a 15 dollar space heater will do for a cold room.
Yeah those little heaters do the trick. I have 2 of them one is old and looks like a little black square radio that cranks out heat to a dangerously hot level where you can't go in front of it.
Then I have a new bigger white one that's shaped like the old radiator heaters and has a temperature control and gets too hot to touch but heats up an entire room.
I never turned the actual heat on once since living in Florida. I don't even know if the fucking thing works. It's crazy because some houses have fireplaces down here and I can smell them
being used and it isn't barely even cold out.
I thought about picking up a portable heater last weekend, something that would warm at least a decent size room. I have always thought most of them are fire hazards but after this morning and the suggestion here, I looked at a few online. Problem is, no one has *anything* in stock and to order, it would be next week when this cold snap will likely ease up.

Maybe you can still get your hands on some heating blankets.

Bed time is no big deal. It's really just the pre-dawn mornings getting up and getting ready for the day. Fortunately, this cold snap is slowly easing off and not as freezing. The downside is my wife probably picked up bronchitis from her trip to Atlanta last week.
The guy across the street from me sold his house in December. The new owner is going to flip it; it's his first go at a flip. He started working on it in January. Every day since then the hammering starts at 7 am and stops at 7 pm. Work trucks park all over the street and block my driveway. And then there's the mess that blows into everyone's yards. By the looks of things, he has at least another month to go. It's grating on everyone's patience. (Yeah, I know - Get off my lawn! )
They tore down a house on a big lot on my street and built two houses in it's spot...twice the workers twice the problems...and that two houses down from me...on the other side the people right next to me are also having a lot of stuff done....every fucking day someone is blocking my driveway... time will pass.....slowly
I'm in the hospital emergency department. My mother fell and couldn't get up. She got dizzy and her osteoarthritic knees gave way. This is the second fall in less than 2 years. Anyway, we are in an exam room now. The doctor has been in and a nurse a couple of times. We've been here for about 2.5 hours already...

So, my mother didn't break or fracture anything, just in a lot of pain. Her BP was 205 when the paramedics first came to the house. The pressure has been decreasing and almost back to her normal level. She's still in the hospital and will likely be released over the weekend, then some physio.
