Found this on Instagram. Don't know if this is real, but it might be interesting to discuss.

From what I know, Xiola died in New York, not in Mexico.

Perry wrote the lyrics in 1986 and Janes played Three Days in 1987, so this songs was ready before Xiola died.

"One night I met a boy" should be "one night I met a poet" and the rest of lyrics come from this website

Ha, I haven't read that page in a long time. :thumb: Glad that stuff's still online because my memory isn't great.

Finally heard that "Boatman" song by DJ Frane that is mentioned.

From Sunny... "I was listening to Chocolate City tonight on 89.9 KRCW, and they played this phat song by DJ Frane. I decided to check out the his album @cdnow.com and the first song you can sample is called Boatman. Its got Jane's Addiction "Three Days" sampled in the background, its pretty cool. so check it out if you're interested.. DJ Frane, Fantastic Boat Ride @ www.cdnow.com."

Or the CIA bosses after they raided his I-don't-know-what. That poem is probably under heavy guard in Area 51.
