I assume "the other" guy (with the poofy hair) is the bass player who appears to be Tony Franklin who previously played in Jimmy Page's post-led Zeppelin band The Firm. That guy has a really distinctive fretless bass sound. I saw him with The Firm back in '85 and he did the only bass solo bit I've ever seen that was actually interesting (bass solos are the worst - see classic Van Halen for best example).
