Just watched the first episode of The Last Dance. :thumb:
You don't have to be a basketball fan to enjoy this doc.

Just started watching this and it’s superb. I used to play basketball for my school but it was never a sport I was particularly enamoured with, I much preferred American Football. But yeh, I’ve learnt shit loads in only two episodes!

Just finish the series The Last Kingdom (Netflix). Although the History Channel's series Vikings is entertaining, The Last Kingdom is much better.

Anyone watching Gordon Ramsay's recent show on National Geographic channel. It's pretty good. I was wondering who will take over for Anthony Bordains spot.
Anyway so Gordon travels across the globe then cooks a meal using ingredients he found while visiting different people from across the way.

Slightly off topic but not sure if you've seen Scheiffer Bates' Gordon Ramsey impressions, but they have me in stitches every time I watch them. By far the best impersonator of him I've seen.

I pulled this up on my YouTube app on my big TV and had my wife (she's a big Ramsey fangirl) watch the clips. We both laughed our asses off to the point our son came in with this "WTF are you guys having a stroke" look and we all three wound up replaying them a couple times. I thought Bates could have cut the bits down a bit but still, pretty goddamned funny. So big thanks for uniting my family in mindless laughter for a few minutes!

Is Ozark worth starting? I've no idea what it's about but I've heard good reviews.

Think I'll watch The War on Drugs first though.

We couldn't get past the third episode of Ozark, so that'd be a no for me. It has its moments in episode 1 and 2, but it didn't feel worth the effort.

I thought season 2 was crap as well. I hesitated to watch the third season thinking it would be even crappier, but S3 was pretty good.

I'm watching America crumble all in the name of hurting Trump. I'm also watching half the citizens being spoon fed the left's agenda by the media, and they seem to love it for some reason. Totally insane & absolutely unbelievable to say the least. Season 2 is no doubt going to get a lot crazier........................ that's what's on my TV. :bs:

I finished watching last week "My Brilliant Friend". Lovely Italian tv series. Each episode seems like a movie on its own, that's how beautiful it was made.
This last weekend I finished watching "Little Fires Eveywhere". It is a bit soap operish and I was interested in watching it because it was produced by Marc Maron's late partner Lynn Shelton.
Now I want to watch "I may destroy you"

I also have heard great reviews about "Years and Years", which is next on my list.

Forgot to add my junk series. Poldark. I had watched last year the last season (5), but had missed the 4th one. So I've been watching the whole thing since November of last year. And now I'm rewatching season 5. Just because...

I love Trailer Park Boys. In fact, I watched their 12 seasons in a row last year.
It's bizarre comedy, like a mockumentary with lots of sarcasm and disasters going on. First 2 or 3 chapters are slow burners, but then it gets going! They are from Canada.
I suggest you watch the original series on Netflix, those that have 12 seasons (not the animated ones). There are several artists appearing, like Rush, Sebastian Bach, C.S.N., Snoop Dogg and many more.

In the same vein, I just finished the new Norsemen season. Hilarious parody to Vikings and those kind of shows. Also on Netflix.

If you like TPB you might like Letterkenny. It's similar, but more the Ontario style of small-town people, and their style of humour. A lot of rapid-fire puns and chirping, rather than the East Coast people from TPB. Letterkenny is hard for me to watch, even when it's funny, because I grew up with every kind of person they show in it.

Yes, I tried to watch Letterkenny but I couldn't find Spanish subtitles, neither a streaming service with Spanish subs. It has lot of Canadian references that I can't understand without them. Hope someday they make it available here!

I have been binging The West Wing. Another great show I am late to. (I didn't watch a lot of TV in the late 90s/early 20s) It's rhythm is similar to The Newsroom (HBO), although The West Wing is far more superior which came as a surprise to me since it is a 20 year old network television series.

I'm halfway through Season 2.

I read that Sorkin's involvement with the show ended at some point. (I'm trying not read about it since I want to avoid any spoilers.) I am hoping the show doesn't go down hill as a result of his departure. I would be so disappointed.

I've never seen The West Wing either. I should make it the next binge-watch.

Recently I've been watching P-Valley, The Chi, Wentworth final season.

*The Chi is an excellent show, imo.

Still watching The West Wing. Just started season 5. Love it. Very witty. It is one of the few shows that can make me laugh out loud.
