Yeah, so there's the rub. Lakers are poised well even with a stacked west. I haven't checked the odds but they have to be generous towards LA. The Celtics, while essentially staying put. took huge steps backwards with the re-introduction of the Nets in the east. I think Kyrie has graduated into the certifiable category of mental illness, so I am hoping he blows up another team. Hayward is a huge problem, and by extension Brad. I know what the numbers say, but they don't reflect his grotesque defense....lack of switches, dormancy, confusion, and general confusion. Offensively, he's just terrified...taking the open shot but mainly hiding in the corner. Brad seems more loyal to Hayward than the overall good of the team. We have to make a huge move, but without dealing at least Smart, it's going to be insanely difficult to dump that 32 mill money pit that is Hayward.kv wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 7:06 amI think creep locked it...
Thank you...after a lifetime of chasing you guys...it feels fucking great...rondo won the 17th for us both only in 2020...and Jeanie is the all-time best...she made history as a women last night and I really couldn't be more proud of her...the league is in great shape...I'm just glad we grabbed the brass ring when we had the chance at it...

Here’s a look at some of the latest rumblings, with a particular focus on reports of note for Toronto Raptors fans.
Lakers, other clubs interested in Ibaka
A key piece of off-season business for the Raptors will be determining what to do with free agent centre Serge Ibaka.
The 31-year-old is coming off his best season as a pro, averaging 15.4 points and 8.2 rebounds per game while shooting 51.2 per cent from the field and 38.5 per cent from deep. He'll likely be looking to stay in the same $22-24-million per year range (or more) with his next contract, a dilemma the Raptors will be wrestling with as they also have to sort out Fred VanVleet’s free agency and keep as much flexibility as possible for the 2021 off-season as well.
As such, Ibaka’s garnering interest from a number of contenders around the the league who believe a centre of his versatile talents would put them over the top. Most notably, the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers believe Ibaka would be “exactly the kind of combo big guy [they] need,” according to Sean Deveney of Heavy.com.
Re: NBA
Lot's of action in OKC - Chris Paul going to the Suns.
I just read a rumour that James Harden turned down an extension with Houston and that Brooklyn is interested. That would be pretty great for the Nets if they could get Harden with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Lakers CRUSHING it...Harrell from the clips, schroder, and Wes mathews...got rid of green and his contract, howard choked away his chance and now we are trying to sign our old draft pick marc gasol! I love these guys...not rondo lebron, jr smith, dwight...but thanks for your time! Enjoy the rings!

Yeah, the Lakers have done well in their wheeling and dealing.kv wrote: ↑Fri Nov 20, 2020 9:28 pmLakers CRUSHING it...Harrell from the clips, schroder, and Wes mathews...got rid of green and his contract, howard choked away his chance and now we are trying to sign our old draft pick marc gasol! I thought Marc Gasol decided to leave the NBA and play for Barcelona?
Re: NBA
So the Celtics stacked picks got players lost their players and now have picks again
Lakers resigned kcp, which was expected, he was the cog that got us to getting lebron....I knew if it worked out he was gonna get paid by us....I'd hoped it somehow wouldn't work but with crazy money...40 for 3 isn't too bad...I'd love gasol or boogie back...give kuzma something and let's go!

Au revoir, Serge!
Have fun with Kawhi and the Clippers.
When Ibaka first came to the the Raptors he seemed so moody and like a diva, then another side of his personality came out and his playing improved; though he can still be inconsistent. He was a fan favourite for sure and he will always be loved here, especially since he helped to win our first NBA championship.
