Chief of Staff: Ron Klain

I have bee reading about possible contenders for a a Biden cabinet. I keep coming across two names for Secretary of Treasury: Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren. I don't see how either will get through the confirmation process in the Senate.

With regard to cabinet picks in general, I wonder if he will go the "acting secretary" route (as DJT did) if he faces an blatantly obstructionist Senate.

John Kerry as Climate Czar, hahaha. You just can't get rid of this fucking guy. He's a political hack, and somehow he keeps getting jobs. He's turned failing up into an art form.

I guess this is part of getting back to "normal" .... bringing back in old establishment career politicians.

Jay Inslee should have been a no brainer for that post.

I finally watched this (Celebrating America) on Sat. I agree; it was well done.
The fireworks were intense at the end. I wasn't sure the Washington Monument would be left standing.

Trump is mired in investigations and lawsuits (both criminal and civil) against him. Who knows if anything will come out of it.

He has also had some issues with his residency at Mar-a-Lago. He has not been happy that the helipad that was put on the property while his was President had to be removed. It is also isn't clear whether he can live there year round. Years ago he signed documents stating that it would not become his "home" since it is a "club."

Back to the Biden Administration: Newsmax ran a smear piece on Biden's dog, Champ, stating that he is not a Presidential dog!! :eyes: :lolol:

President Biden will hold his first formal news conference as president on Thursday.

The news conference is expected to touch on a wide array of issues, including the pandemic, the recently enacted $1.9 trillion stimulus package, immigration and — especially in the wake of deadly shootings in Georgia and Colorado — policies to reduce gun violence.

Thursday is Mr. Biden’s 64th day in office, which is unusually late for a president in modern times to hold his first formal news conference, though he has periodically answered questions from the news media in more informal settings.

Well that's surprising news. Just kind of sprung that one on the media. Biden must be generally with it today when his people check on him in the morning.

Well see I guess....it will be a good test for him if the media is average in its coverage. :noclue:

See how close we are to him stepping down for President Harris......

Joe Biden is doing a great job and he is standing with ukraine and giving the brave man, zelinsky our money and he is fighting for trans kids! He is a young and vibrant leader that can run a 6 minute mile.
Biden is an amazing communicator and has brought the country together. He is a uniter. Everyday, we should thank the universe that Joe Biden is our leader. :tiphat:

Best,
