It's $300. Sounds like they originally planned to make 3000 copies, but pre-orders must've been weak, as now they're saying only 1500 will be produced.

Shocker. I'd be surprised if they sell 1,500.

In the new Spin interview he said he has new managers and this was their idea. Lol.

Perry dropped a photo of his as a baby and his Mom. Along with a small excerpt/look at the book that you get.

Seems substantial?

Is it possible this is worth it for the Psi Com vinyl, SYTBS, and the hardcover book?

4 versions of "Let's All Pray for This World", a song that has been played less than 8,000 times on YouTube.

On the other hand, it's 69 songs (I'm sure that's not a coincidence) for $300! So only $4.3 per song. What kind of skinflint wouldn't splash money on this?

I assume he means that he'll have P4P play Lollapalooza (all its locations) rather than any kind of actual tour.

"Way down low where the streets are littered." woulda been waaaaay better..

or "I find my fun with the freaks."

Or pretty much any line from the good jane's songs.

It's just dumb. Who would ever describe the most relevant parts of his career as glitzy or glamorous? You KNOW Etty named this stupid thing.

Now available through Rough Trade (US). Still the same astronomical price point.

Did anyone buy this? Is out yet? I'm curious about the book. I read that it also comes with a bandana.

I bought it and, aside from the price, am happy to have it in the collection. I've only spun Songs Yet to Be Sung so far, and was reminded how much I liked the album. I'll dig into the book over the coming weeks, though it isn't really a memoir-- more a collection of cool pictures with brief captions.

But how's the bandana?
