Re: NBA
As far as James Harden is concerned I have mixed feelings. On one hand I see him as the quitter who seemed to purposely get fat to break a deal with houston, and now wanted another new home, but then on the other hand kd and Kyrie were the ones who persuaded him to go to Brooklyn and now although Kyrie is perfectly healthy he won't even play a home game and kd is injured more than he isn't.
Both teams got a great deaI, I think Harden will return to all time great mvp caliber form like he was as recent as last season and Nets have a guy who puts up
Scottie Pippen type numbers.
Scottie 16 ppg 47% FG 6 rebounds 5 assists 32% from 3
Ben Simmons 14 ppg 55% FG 8 rebounds 8 assists 14 % from the 3
Both play great defense
On another note how about those raptors 8-straight.

Re: NBA
The team is not doing too badly so far. I was thinking the other day maybe we get to the playoffs, at least the first round, but now with the latest big trades in the east, I don't know. Nothing exciting in trade news for us, just got Thaddeus Young from the Spurs.

Re: NBA
I'm going to watch it tonight, too tired last night.
Speaking of winning...glad to see your Cs are playing better lately. Yesterday's Nets loss was very satisfying for me. I guess I'm a little annoyed about the Dragic situation. I know he didn't want to play in TO in the first place, but I felt that he didn't really give it a try either. He played 5 games then had to leave for "personal reasons" back to Slovenia. Not long after that, pics of him working out in Miami. Oh well, whatever...
Looking forward to the Bulls vs 76ers game tonight.
Re: NBA
Thanks. It's been satisfying to see. We made a reliable habit of dramatic collapses to lose games earlier in the season. A couple of tweaks to obtain some grit through trades and Williams D coupled with getting healthy and we're back. East is tight. Dragic is late stage with a little juice left, but you'd think anyone in his situation would embrace Toronto. But the tendency to piggyback to a ring is too much I suppose.Artemis wrote: ↑Mon Mar 07, 2022 2:24 pmI'm going to watch it tonight, too tired last night.

Re: NBA
I don't feel sorry for anyone on the fakes. Especially Westbrook and Pelinka. This experiment is comical. LeBron is in a whole other category of dysfunction, but how Rob has been completely insolated by Jeanie is beyond me.
Williams is a beast. C's are fun to watch and root for these days. Kinda bummed that we didn't pluck Rozier from the guard heavy Hornets at the deadline.

Re: NBA
It is what it is, sold their souls for #17 so I get it. Pelinka's issue is most of the other GMs have come out and said he is an asshole as an agent and he is an asshole as a GM. Second round draft picks is why a trade with the Knicks fell thru. A trade that would have helped them. Oh well. Least the Dodgers and Rams and Lakers have all won in the last couple years.SR wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 4:56 amI don't feel sorry for anyone on the fakes. Especially Westbrook and Pelinka. Re: NBA
I know man, but it is what it is how they have won 31 games is beyond me and like you said its like they're playing in a rec league out there sometimes
