The EP is done, and they’re not releasing it until at best 12 days before the tour starts? When they could have built momentum during the holiday shopping period. Makes sense.

Remember when TGEA came out. Janes did two Irving Plaza shows on the release date, I think October 2011. And then it was like months later that the actual tour started. Perry and his team are really not good at their jobs.

This is probably exactly it. The Stones have an army behind them, and spare no detail and expense. Who is the PFP army? This board?

They have new management that covers both bands that they were excited about. That was before the Pumpkins tour. They really encouraged them to get the legacy members involved, so the P4P tour, etc.

My suspicion is that it’s a group that understands the two bands legacies better than previous teams, but that they’re a bit green when it comes to putting it all together.

If they were smart, they really would have some of us consulting. That may seem crazy (fans dictating band decisions), but when you have a small group of old school, die hard fans, why not at least survey them?

However, the internet fan base for these bands seems to be looked down upon by everyone except Pete, unless you were one of the JA.org sycophants. In fact, I know there have been directives given to not interact with us. Over the years and even recently.

There are a lot of people that don’t like hearing the truth, or at worst, honest feedback. Gotta keep the bubble intact.

I know it's not an apt comparision Stones vs P4P. Surely, PF and company have enough dough to cover a 5 song record. If this is truly P4P's retirement then go out with something memorable!

I don’t want to be too specific about something I was told in confidence. It just reiterated for me that we’re still viewed poorly by these camps since the ‘04-‘10 craziness with the breakups and Eric and all of that.
