I continued to be perplexed by the inability of professional musicians, who own hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of musical equipment, to sit down and write a song and then record that song.

Ironically when I went to a guitar center to see him play and talk shop he said his hope for Janes was set aside time and write/record together at studio 606… you could tell he really wanted that to happen
