I feel like that could be the title of a possible album.

That would be a complete surprise to me, but we don’t talk super frequently. Mostly brief texts lately.

Only thing I could see any evidence to support that is they have released 2/3rds of the new stuff, so one more song isn’t as exciting?

I put together a hypothetical third P4P album track list as well - here’s what I went with for the order, mostly sticking to studio (or studio-esque) versions of songs. Definitely not chronological, but tried to go for some kind of flow, and kept the recent song releases together in case that order was intentional:

1. Land Of The New Rising Sun (Trademark of Quality version)
2. Satellite Of Love
3. Dominator
4. Hard Charger
5. Agua
6. Pete’s Dad (‘95 Remix)
7. Little Me
8. Fingernail (Not out yet, but described as a slow-building ballad)

I don’t love starting the “album” off with two covers, but like the slow burn/build of Land Of The New Rising Sun, and thought that Tonight would make a fitting bookend.

I don’t know man, that chorus is vintage Janes to me. Like, one of the best moments in their entire catalogue. I just wish Perry had not gone off the deep end with the electronics in the verses, which do sound more P4Pish.

Yeah it is not about saying the song doesn't sound like JA or would sound better played by P4P.
Actually, I do love that song, each part of it and Dave's playing is perfect.

Is it a straight JA song ? Maybe -like Iris or Blood Rag- it has cross-banded roots
