i know the 49ers probably overachieved last year but as long as they make the playoffs anything can happen. i just hope randy doesn't cry about not getting the ball enough. we don't have that type of offense. run first.

Either Randy or Davis is going to have a HUGE year because they're both freakishly gifted for the spots they play, with that run game Alex Smith should be able to check down and take his shots and the 9ers D is pretty good. They will be fine and if the Bolts can not win it I don't hate the 9ers... well except for 94.. but that is the past haha

lol rams need to feed SJAX the ball this year otherwise bradford is going to get hurt again. i did not see them improve the oline this off season. fisher will have a good defense and will run the ball though, if bradford stays healthy they can probably win 7-9 games but still need more.

meanwhile the bolts i'm predicting 7-9 season, if the oline continues to be injured and can not get mathews back. bright side gates finally looks healthy.

team to watch is going to be the bears.

They signed the Packer C Scott Wells, so that's something, and the line looked solid against the Ravens. We'll see.

I wish the Giants would've shown up before the 4th quarter. How many passes can your receivers drop in one game? How many times can one guy burn Kenny Phillips?

A panel unanimously overturned the suspensions for the Saints players in the bounty case. Makes me a happy Saints fan

I wont be surprised if Russell Wilson has a better rookie season than RG3.

me too. i do think luck will do better than both though.

game of the day....49ers at green bay. this is a tough way to start the year. i think the packers are on the decline and the 49ers are on the way up. can't wait.

I've been chugging the Kool-Aid all morning.

A post I made on a Rams forum:

It seems to me that after so many years of being beat down and bruised as a fan base the cups of kool-aid have all but run dry.

Well kids:

Image

Drink up.

Because I have faith.

One need only look back to 2010 to see a team that was capable of competing for the division. I understand the schedule was soft, but I also understand that in a league of parity no win is a given.

Also see:

Image

Yes, the Saints game.

Where a team that had no business winning did just that.

And why? The man in the picture above.

You know, the man that was hurt for most of last year?

The man that is the best RB in football and is in his prime, ready for a career season?

With a healthy body, a full off-season program, and the support from the man below, SJAX39 is going to run wild this year.

Image

Speaking of, as we've read in multiple articles, this team is taking on Fishers identity. Calm, cool, and tough.

Fisher is one of the winningest active coaches in all of football, with a winning percentage over .500 on the road.

This man knows how to win, and knows how to win now. Fisher doesn't talk about rebuilding, he talks about division titles, and I'm with him.

Let's also not forget our Offensive Rookie of the Year Quarterback:

Image

The one who played in a ridiculous offense last year that never had time to be installed before Sam had his ankle destroyed.

This year will be no better? It will be when he's playing behind a revamped line that can at the very least run block. Jackson will pound them in to submission, and then Sam WILL light them up, especially with the help of:

Image

Another key player bitten by the injury snake last year, Sam's security blanket and partner in crime is back. Danny Amendola may not be the tallest or the fastest, but he is reliable and will get the first down and keep the chains moving consistently.

Offense - ready to roll.

Now let's talk about our potential top ten defense.

Image

As I predicted in one Long bashing thread after another, Chris Long turned in a double digit sack performance last year, one of the teams few bright spots, and he will continue his ascent on his way to his first pro-bowl in 2012. Bank on it.

On the opposite end:

Image

Robert Quinn turned in a stellar second half last season and has flashed brilliance in the pre-season. Opposing teams will have to double team either he or long, and the other will make them pay.

Next up:

Image

JL55, he who leads the team in tackles, and the rock in the middle, will continue to run sideline to sideline and refuse entrance in to the secondary.

But wait you say, what about or awful secondary in 2011? Who will cover the top receivers? Who will stop the Megatrons of the world?

Image

Cort being Cort.

Now let's also not forget our newest addition and automatic point scorer once we cross mid field:

Image

Greg the mother effin Leg.

60 yards? 3 points. In the bank.

So you see folks, we have the best of the 2010 team that competed for the division HEALTHY this year.

We have exciting new additions that make this a better team than 2011.

And you have a head coach that can steer those few extra wins and prepare for the big games that get you over the hump.

The Rams are young, healthy, and ready to show the NFL what a Jeff Fisher team is all about.

Hard nose resiliency that refuses to lose.

So pour yourself a nice tall glass:

iImage

And let's get ready to shock the world.

RG3 looks like the real deal so far... having been able to see him live when he was playing at Baylor the dude is amazing in person. He is going to be awesome for the Redskins.
