topic post notifs

#1 Post by nausearockpig » Tue Apr 01, 2014 5:31 pm

I've noticed this happening a bit lately.. I posted on the Walking Dead topic at 10:51am local time and then I receive an email notification of a post on the thread at 11:12am local time. When I look at the link it's to the first page in the topic and when I go to the last page, I can see the last post is the one I just made, not one someone else made.

Not a big deal but if there are costs associated with bandwidth used for outgoing emails or something it may add up. dunno..

I'm not following any posts, I'm following a topic and made a post but the database notified me of a post being made, but it was the post I had made, not one someone else had made.

our tech support team is busy replying to this post and then is going to eat a salad and watch some tv so i'm not sure your problem will be resolved.

Ove the last few weeks or so I've received a couple of notifications for the "Now Playin' thread. I thought that I must have inadvertantly selected to follow it...didn't think it was a system problem. Fortunately, Now Playing isn't a very busy thread or I'd be annoyed by all the notification emails.
