The tone is hopeful that Dave will return and is welcome to do so if he wishes, but I think Dave is done.

Less then two months away for this run of shows - if Dave is still in, he'll need to start doing rehearsals with the band by mid-Feb. At any rate, the band need to come clean and not continue to sell tickets to shows indicating Dave is in the lineup if he's not.

No, probably not. Wishful thinking on my part. After reading all the great reviews from ANRers and seeing the vids from the last tour, I felt like I was missing out a little bit.

The way he died was surprisng...sudden contraction of bacterial meningitis. On the plus side, at least he wasn't suffering with a long, painful illness. Incredible career that's for sure. The Lolla dates in South America are in March.

I'm hoping for an announcement for dates to make up for the missed cities from last year's tour.

As for Dave, haven't read anything or seen anything to suggest that he's back with JA.

I liked the flavour, slightly tart, maybe like a hint of apple and cranberry. The jelly wasn't too sweet overall. I would have it again.

Took in Afro Bowie celebration of his bday last night in DTLA. Vernon Reid, Angelo, Norwood, Saul Williams, Kamasi, Justin Warfield, and Tony Austin on drums. Just insane. Angelo was such a fit for the Bowie tunes and Saul killed on I'm Afraid of Americans. Everyone had such a good time. Great show...
