I still think something weird is going on. In that Tweeted video, they don’t show Dave’s face. And if you look at the way those pants hang on his right leg near the end of the video, he looks super SKINNY…like anorexic or dying skinny. I hope I’m wrong and time shows me to be the fool.

Turns out, that footage is from over a year ago.

Dave had a story where he was in a car yesterday. NOT at Jane’s Addiction rehearsal. Pete playing guitar confirmed?
I'm not on Twitter, but how do you know they were rehearsing? I'm assuming someone posted that they were rehearsing.

I’d just like to say for the record that Dave seems emotionally and spiritually healthy and that makes me happy. I hope he has a great tour with the complete band.

Things do suddenly seem less dire than they did. Hopefully everyone is well and has a great time together.

As suspected, Dave (and/or Perry) did not appear at the Taylor Hawkins LA Tribute. Granted, they’re days away from hitting the road for a tour (well, we know for certain that Perry is…who knows about Dave), it’s super odd that Dave, Perry, and/or Stephen were not involved in either of these tribute shows. Especially, Dave. It really makes you wonder what goes on or went on behind the scenes that we aren’t privy to.

pretty sure gilby is gonna play guitar and then during the guitar solo a screen will lower on the stage and there will be dave plugged into his boss metal zone pedal saying "and that's not all" and via the amazing new streaming technology of zoom he will rip up the middle of three days and then disappear for the rest of the show

Again, if Dave is not on the tour, the only remotely acceptable substitute is Peter. Gilby is not a match on so many levels…and it would definitely be a dick move to fans if they are keeping the lineup a secret.

All signs point to Dave being there, so I think it's a moot point. But there is nothing this band could do to surprise me. Dick moves and all.

Yeah my only guess is maybe they wanted big hitters like Def Leppard for the la show and maybe Janes was a little too inaccessible for the audience. Still weird considering Janes was Taylor’s all time favorite band aside from Queen

Perry and Etty wrote some nice things about Taylor and the tribute show yesterday and Dave had tagged foo fighters in one of his pics the other day. Matt Cameron got onstage with them too which I’m blown away by considering the rolling stone article that came out and what he supposedly said in it

Sounds like Rolling Stone was trying to do a hit job or something, as well as get some clicks…

All I know for sure is Dave's new wife is close to my daughter's age and Dave is a decade older than I am... :noclue:

Lack of Jane’s ( one of his favorite bands )

Or Perry or Dave was weird.

But maybe Foos got Chaney in the divorce ?

Perry's tribute video after Taylor's passing was honestly kind of gross and self centered. It makes me wonder if that hurt the relationship. I also wonder if Dave was using with Taylor. Not to be all gossipy. But it's all very weird.

I assumed this from day one; hence, Dave hasn’t been at these tributes.

Why should we care about ANY of this? Yet here we are following a band that hit their peak 30 something years ago while we collectively get older and uglier

Like I said I have daughter's around that age & generally when you do...you tend to look at these things a little differently...

I have a daughter too. And four nieces. But I think consenting adults can do whatever they want. Dave’s wife/partner/girlfriend is 29 years old; I’m not going to infantilize her.

Of course they can do what they like, but clearly this man has had issues with long term relationships in his time and we love his talent etc but he's got his demons. I brought it up because I'm not sure how I personally feel about it or how I'd feel if my kid came home with a man 10 years older than me. But I see not a damn thing has changed around here & mofos tend to just be contrarian for the sake of it. Let's continue talking about what we actually DON'T KNOW about Dave.

Brother if we can speculate about IF a guy is using or not, but don't question his choices in women DECADES younger than him I dunno but imo it tends to kinda go hand in hand...and I'm fine I just forgot how flip cats are without actually saying ANYTHING worth saying
