Funny : Eric's picture on Spotify is actually a picture of JA whole band from NSLarry B. wrote: ↑Sun Oct 06, 2024 4:14 amWowRichie wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 8:51 pmLikely been mentioned here before, but just recognised that the True Love bass line is taken directly from Eric’s song Road from his Life.Time album

That is a nice setup!
What amp is that?
What amp is that?
Re: "Imminent Redemption" Black Friday RSD Release

The amp is by a boutique valve amp builder here is Aus. Weston Acoustics. https://www.facebook.com/people/Weston ... 568356151/
Re: "Imminent Redemption" Black Friday RSD Release
Wow, very handsome, but it would look better with Nothing's Shocking LP instead of Blackbird. Just to say.
Re: "Imminent Redemption" Black Friday RSD Release
Yeah Eric mentioned like 10 years ago he thought he could do a better job with that bassline which makes me think lifetime is just demos. It might’ve even been presented to the band during NINJA. Definitely better suited for JanesRichie wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 8:51 pmLikely been mentioned here before, but just recognised that the True Love bass line is taken directly from Eric’s song Road from his Life.Time album

Hahah fuck off.Tyler Durden wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 10:43 amI called it. Looks like we're getting an "alternate version" of the song, along with "True Love". Some copies will be signed by one or more band members. If that's the final artwork, it sucks.

I wonder if that’s Warner’s suggested retail price to make up for lost tour revenue.nausearockpig wrote: ↑Tue Oct 08, 2024 12:22 amHahah fuck off.Tyler Durden wrote: ↑Wed Oct 02, 2024 10:43 amI called it. Re: "Imminent Redemption" Black Friday RSD Release
So the vinyl that was being sold on tour is now selling on the official store site. So it’s not the same as what’s coming for RSD on Black Friday. I figured it wouldn’t be; this RSD stuff is planned quite a bit in advance.

It says it´s a pre order and that items will be shipped in November?

Re: "Imminent Redemption" Black Friday RSD Release
Oh shit, I didn’t see that. It is the same with the shirts. That being said, if the vinyl on their site is the same as the RSD release, why are they not making the 7 inches available for RSD too? I just always assumed that RSD releases were planned well in advance.
Re: "Imminent Redemption" Black Friday RSD Release
I'm assuming the RSD is different because its signed by some members of the band. The only outlet in the UK to list it is Rough Trade records at £29.99.
Re: "Imminent Redemption" Black Friday RSD Release
Like we discussed earlier, they were planning on selling fully signed 12´´ at the merch boot. So, some were, by some members apparently. That´s why we think it´s those being sold for RSD.
Maybe they don´t have that many copies left of the 7´´, that´s why they´re being sold on their website exclusively

And what are the chances that the only sigs that got completed were Perkins.... :DMescal wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 8:44 amLike we discussed earlier, they were planning on selling fully signed 12´´ at the merch boot. Re: "Imminent Redemption" Black Friday RSD Release
Still hope the outro is on this alternate version but probably not
This was probably the best they did this song on the euro tour. I think this was the first time they added the outro- Perry sounds aggressive and into it here, especially on the choruses
I really think if it was released under the context of a record it would’ve gotten more visibility

I think 3 signatures got completed and I think we can all assume which one didn't due to the member being passed out on Tranq on his bus.Everybody's Friend wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 9:05 amAnd what are the chances that the only sigs that got completed were Perkins.... :DMescal wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2024 8:44 amLike we discussed earlier, they were planning on selling fully signed 12´´ at the merch boot. For anyone who's ordered off the store got this as a reply asking when it would ship, suggests these aren't the ones sold on tour but another pressing

I got one from the store. I’m sure it was a tour leftover.

Re: "Imminent Redemption" Black Friday RSD Release
I picked up the 12" today. I wasn't really looking for it among the RSD releases (was looking for the U2 release which I also scored) but they had a single copy so I picked it up. I haven't had a chance to listen yet so I can't say if either song is indeed a different mix compared to the tour version. I will say the packaging is a bit better - it comes in a die-cut outer blank white sleeve with a glossy inner sleeve with B/W printed lyrics for both songs. And I don't know how much I beat the odds, but the inner sleeve was signed in black sharpie by Eric, Dave and Stephen.

Sounds like it has the outro they added but it fades out. It also looks like some only have Dave’s signature as wellPandemonium wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 5:15 pmI picked up the 12" today.
