Was kinda hoping for NY...like the matchups better. Would love to know Larry's thoughts on the series
NBA
Re: NBA
Missed switches all night put smalls on bigs...just weird for us. JB played hero but it really just made up for his crap free throw performance. Can't rely on that guy at all at the line and he's only getting worse. Love Al, but no paint presence. Again, parts of the game looked regular season to me in terms of intensity.

Re: NBA
I think the were a little too rested. Pacers were still warmed with little rest. Thursday will be better for sure!SR wrote: ↑Wed May 22, 2024 6:45 amMissed switches all night put smalls on bigs...just weird for us. "He defiantly competed in everything in life" - Rick Carlisle
...after commenting he had a date with his future wife. Rick called Walton to say he was taking her on a first date to the Dead and if he could do anything. Bill replied..."go to the back door and say you're Rick from the Boston Celtics and you'll be good. And they were, with the band and in life

Re: NBA
thank you is right...fuck man...was lucky enough to met him in a 2-1 with my mom...I never bother celebs, was waiting to cross a fairway at a golf tourney with my mom when Jerry buzzed up in a cart alone behind us and hopped out next to my mom...was insanely sweet to her (a lifelong fan and currently in tears) .. I shock his hand as we left after chatting a few minutes when they let us cross...
makes me think of when chick hearn or Vin died...shouldn't be so bummed when they were so old and had it so good but the void will never be filled...massive loss to sports and humanity

Re: NBA
I never bother celebs either, but there were so many clips/C's games my kiddo and I went to over the years where his seat was close and accessible. I didn't do it, but really wanted my son to meet him. So few people I prop up to him to emulate. JW was one of em. And you left Bill off your list

Re: NBA
