Live shows in your agenda?
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Dirty Honey in November. Their sound isn't really original but I like it; it's the musical equivalent of comfort food to me. They remind of a bunch of different bands like Van Halen, Black Crowes, Zepp, RUsh, Aerosmith, GNR.. I guess it's not really a surprise that I like them because I like Greta Van Fleet too.

Postal Service goes on sale tomorrow. Im extremely excited. I’ve waited 20 years.
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Thinking about going to this show. It's at a casino venue, so not too big and seated, which is perfect for the 50+ crowd tha twill be attending.
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Madness would be great there!
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Going to see Danny Bedrosian (Parliament Funkadelic keyboardist) and Somn Fierce on Saturday for his book release party.
If you're interested or have a love for P-Funk, he essentially wrote an encyclopedia canon of the entire Parliament Funkadelic catalogue and history:

Enjoy the release party!
I've seen P-Funk a few times over the years and Bernie Worrell solo one time.
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Just got tix for the Pixies w/Modest Mouse and Cat Power in June!
The last time I saw the Pixies was in 2004 at a crappy, out of my way venue.
My first concert of 2024 will be next month- The Kills, followed by P4P!

Re: Live shows in your agenda?
I'd go to that just for Men Without Hats.
Colin has been in town here a few times and I always seem to miss him.
Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Thanks! Danny's played in a ton of Tallahassee bands over the years before and during his time in P-Funk, so it's always a blast to see him perform.Artemis wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 8:48 amWow! Re: Live shows in your agenda?
Today's ticket purchase...PJ Harvey in September.
General admission ticket prices are really going up! With all the service charges it was $101 per ticket. Oh well, I don't mind. PJ Harvey doesn't come to Canada often.
