They are getting old for that, Eric and Perry reunited for concert$$, not giving away songs for free on Internet.
I see your bet and raise it for all the dates in Canada (at least).Tyler Durden wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 4:09 amI’d bet we don’t hear a single word from the Jane’s camp today (Monday).

man .. dave is really taking his Princebonics to a whole other level .. must be getting married brought back those old carmen prince memories .. eye thought the word was perry had a pinched nerve .. sounds like he took too many painkillers .. had a couple great shows .. but like all medical bullshit .. you feel worse after because u numbed yrself and moved wrong .. prolly perry headbanged too hard on painkillers and fucked up his neck again .. but yeah the orgy with pole dancers troy is depressed etty broke a nail theories work too i guess .. dave would take a bullet but won't play guitar .. guess no one in the band qualifies for the list of navarroo .. maybe too many negative remarks about troy and maybe billy thought it would be a full janes reunion and got the blindside like everyone else .. that is why they brought in all the guest guitar starpower to make up for no dave and keep fans from bitching too much ..
Re: Official Spirits On Fire tour thread
And he's used of working and touring with Josh Homme.
I'm sure he can handle Perry and Co
Re: Official Spirits On Fire tour thread
It's a shitty FB-level grandma meme. Totally uninteresting. I think he thought it was deep to post that with SP's "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" because of the tour, not some cryptoglyphic secret message to the superfans about what's really going on.
Re: Official Spirits On Fire tour thread
I don’t know
Dave seems petty and his non in involvement has been weird and the timing of that post with a SP song.
I’m sure it’s nothing but — the non communication is a gift for mindless speculation.

There's some fiddle-playing singer at the Horseshoe tonight. Maybe that'd be a better show.Artemis wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 5:36 amMake the best of it! It's another beautiful day at least. Well, I haven't listened to OLP in maybe 20 years, but 12 year old me would be super-stoked to see them, so I guess I'll just enjoy a night out in Toronto tonight and pretend I'm a kid again while watching geriatric karaoke in a stadium.

Agree with bman, she sounds pretty good. Never heard of her before...might not be a bad idea to go to the Horseshoe. I haven't been to show there since before the pandemic...Lucy Dacus in 2018.Hype wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 7:57 amThere's some fiddle-playing singer at the Horseshoe tonight. P.S. It's Drake's birthday today and he is giving away free chicken at Dave's Hot Chicken..

Our sweet, sweet optimist.
Re: Official Spirits On Fire tour thread
If Billy becomes insufferable (especially that new song with the wrestling nonsense) I totally might bail for something else. Or just go home and get drunk watching the 1986 Roxy show for the millionth time. We'll see.

Lol. I was driving to DC a couple of years ago and heard her on WXPN while driving through Philly. I liked her!

Re: Official Spirits On Fire tour thread
I’m just gonna chalk this whole tour up to the Curse of Taylor Hawkins.
Re: Official Spirits On Fire tour thread
That's the most realistic bit of speculation in this entire thread.
Re: Official Spirits On Fire tour thread
So really long time since I've been on here and posted. Glad I went to the NYC show, I was thinking of going to Philly instead since it was on a Friday. This old man doesn't like being out late on work nights. Plus I got to take my daughter which was really amazing.
The show as great, I had sworn off seeing them since the last time I saw them back in 2012 and they sucked. I almost left the show because they were just going through the motions. The NYC show they were much better, great energy, and they all seemed to be getting along well enough and having a good time. As mentioned on here earlier Perry and Eric even spoke with each other on stage. This will be very interesting to see what this is all about, hopefully something temporary and they are able to get back after the next few shows in Canada.
A friend of mine that I went to see JA back in the early 90s with has tickets for Chicago show, so hoping they are back for that. I was telling him how much better they were with Eric back in the fold, not as good as all 4, but still good. He hasn't seen them in a very long time and was very excited to see them again.
If this is it, just glad I got to see them with my daughter, it was really special.

I’m glad you had that experience! I think this could be it for Jane’s. It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. This band has fucked up karma.LJF wrote: ↑Mon Oct 24, 2022 8:44 amSo really long time since I've been on here and posted. I hope we’re blowing it all out of proportion — cause the night before this all happened. Seemingly everything was great!
Perry and Eric joking around on stage ?!

Re: Official Spirits On Fire tour thread
It would be ideal if Perry threw his back out and needs a week off lol. So far Ticketmaster still has them listed for the November shows. We'll see. I doubt it though.
