Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Dalembert was rumored to be signing with the Rockets
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
yeah but we all of a sudden have money and he played here last year. we will see.Juana wrote:Dalembert was rumored to be signing with the Rockets
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
I can't remember so many guys going out at once from heart issues. Green, Hayes, even Aldridge had surgery for his heart a week or so ago.
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Makes me wonder if they were on something or some kind of PED masker causing some issues? But Aldridge had his at UT also I wish him nothing but the best he was always way cool and still is when he comes back to Austin
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
I use to see him bowling with his girlfriend in Portland. He seems like a down to earth dude.Juana wrote:Makes me wonder if they were on something or some kind of PED masker causing some issues? Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Man its VERY obvious that the Lakers need to use that trade exception for a PG. Blake sucked. Morris was alright but sucked on defense. Need to get someone that can contain or slow down the ball or Derrick Rose is going to blister them a lot worse than CP3 did last night. I know its preseason but need a PG. Billups and CP3 were lights out.
Bright spot aside from Kobe getting swatted he looked really good had nice elevation on his shot that I haven't seen since 2008-ish. Looks like the knee thing with the plasma or stem cells or whatever is working. Bynum looked slow in rotating, but showed a lot of upside in on ball D in the post. Gasol looked really good as did McRoberts.

Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Time to get real.....
Shamrocks open on Christmas against the Knicks. It should be a very interesting matchup, although after last years clinic we put on the Heat opening day (and first game as well), a good showing means nothing. We are desperate for a big (center), and we have the biggest dipshit GM in the leauge.
Regardless, GO CELTICS!!!!

Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Tonight's Rip Hamilton's debut with Chicago, and I'm pretty damn excited to see how his and D-Rose's styles mesh together.
GO BULLS!
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Shit, there's a Bulls fan in the mix? you too.
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Yeah the Bulls fan came out last year happy that for the first time since Jordan their squad looks really good.
As for Ainge I said it before he mortgaged everything for that title and then didn't surround the aging big 3 with solid role players liek the first year.

Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Coach Brown wont ever win a championship no matter what players he has..props in advance to bynum for blowing out his knee again...
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Fuck. Green is out for the season with a heart ailment???!!!! Pierce is starting injured. This team is never healthy
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
he would do it the same 100 times over got a banner vs the lakersJuana wrote: As for Ainge I said it before he mortgaged everything for that title and then didn't surround the aging big 3 with solid role players liek the first year.
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
No doubt but he still should have interjected as much youth as he could like the Lakers should have as well. Still have holes behind KB and at PG.
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
This is going to be an exciting year. Caught some of the Clip game last night. There is serious potential for damage there.
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
i hope kobe plays on monday against the kings. the kings will take time to come together. they are missing a big man since chuck hays was lost. dalembert signed with the rockets after he said he had a deal with the kings but something happened and his agent pissed the kings off. we have been talking to kirilenko to try to get him out of russia. we just look sloppy right now but that is to be expected.
we seem to pick it up against the lakers so i at least hope it's a good game. jimmer is looking great.

Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
If Kobe can not play in these games to start the year then they will go 0-5 as Bynum is out as well. BUT hopefully its not that bad since he played thru it when it happened and has been shooting with it as well as shooting with his left hand.

Yep that means if Orlando does move him now there is really only one team that they can send him to

crazy times. now chuck hayes has been cleared to play and it looks like he will resign with the kings at 4yrs 22 million.creep wrote:the kings had to void his contract because of heart issues. sucks for the kings but i hope the guy is ok. we need to sign sam dalembert now.creep wrote:

Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
I wonder if the Kings DRs changed their minds now that Dalembert is of the market? Hmm
Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
he went to the cleveland clinic to have his own tests done. the kings had nothing to do with it. uc davis diagnosed him with it and they are highly respected too. sort of weird. nice of the kings to throw another million his way as sort of an apology.Juana wrote:I wonder if the Kings DRs changed their minds now that Dalembert is of the market? Re: NBA 2011/12(?)
Oh I didn't see it was for more than the previous one. That is pretty legit.
